Head of Global Internship Program
Abinash Guragain is the lead Program Manager at Nobel. He manages the Internship Program Team directly and mentors other teams like the Operations Team, the Eduquest Team, the Community Engagement Team, and the Nepal Promo Team.
Our Internship Program Team ensures that the Internship program is scalable and follows Nobel’s principle of ‘Learn, Lead, and Succeed.’ Our team tests our new pathways and programs for interns to ensure they have the best remote internship experience, where they learn hard and soft skills needed for the 21st-century job market. Our working methodology follows industry practices of Systems Thinking and Design Thinking.
Abinash joined Nobel in the weekday cohort of January 2023 as a Global Intern from Nepal. He was invited to join the Internship Program Team (formerly known as Nobel’s Internship Restructure Team ‘nirst‘) in March of 2023, and was later onboarded officially as the Internship Program Manager in the next month of April. He was promoted to the Lead position in the team and as the Head of Global Internship Program in January of 2024, and served as Interim Operations Team Lead at Nobel for 2 months during the leadership transition stage.
His commitment to learning new skills by diving into different roles at the company is what makes Abinash invaluable and agile in different company roles.
Nobel’s Internship and early career experience mean the world to me. Not only have I built an understanding of how internal processes of a company should be structured, I have also developed a deep perspective on how customers interact with a service/ product and how important it is to stay true to the needs of the customer.
His responsibilities at Nobel Include:
– Leading end-to-end program strategy, design, and execution using agile program management principles.
– Designing and scaling Learner-to-Leader development journeys aligned with organizational goals.
– Facilitating cross-functional teams using Design Thinking frameworks to drive structured problem-solving and MVP-based solutions.
– Applying Systems Thinking to optimize program workflows, dependencies, and long-term impact.
– Establishing and managing program governance, timelines, and delivery frameworks to ensure consistent execution.
– Driving continuous improvement loops through feedback, evaluation metrics, and iterative program enhancements of the Internship Program.
Nobel Community is more than just a workplace for me. This is where I meet people from all over the world and get to work on cool projects with them, solve real problems and shape the future of education.
